This new hotel, located in the Larramendi Tower
House, has kept the original name of the ancient
defensive construction that arose at the time of its
origin. The Larramendi Torrea is located to the southeast of
the historic population of Azkoitia, along a winding path along
the Urola River as it leaves the town in the
direction of Azpeitia, between the river
and the road that connect both villages. Located
on a tiny promontory, the Larramendi Torrea formerly made up
part of a rural landscape along with the hamlets
of Basterretxe and Larramendi Goena, which disappeared long
ago.
